Vintage Gilded Tole Rampant Lion Wall Plaques

Talk about making a statement!! Vintage pair of gilded tole  Rampant Lions. These beauties are old and heavy!! I acquired them while on a recent Memphis sourcing trip. They had been used as ornamental pieces on large gates. Can’t you seen them  as you enter the drive of an antebellum estate?!? They are fabulous! True statement pieces perfect for use inside or out. 

Just look at the natural patina. Because I love it, I have not tried to clean them. I will leave that to the discretion of the buyer. 

They are substantial  with each measuring approximately 30.5” tall x 15” wide and weighing 19 pounds.
