Black Swan Painting Set in Maui, Original Painting, Signed and Framed

Vintage original painting features a black swan swimming in the waters of Maui surrounded by lush Hawaiian scenery, including palms. The salt-washed coastal colors set the scene perfectly as the swan floats along majestically in the tropical waters. 

The handwritten note on the back reads: Hawaii 6-85 Hyatt Hotel Maui

The Maui Hyatt is known for their architecture and dozens of species of birds in the lobby, a swan court including black swans, and a high-end art gallery.

I acquired this piece from a glorious Central Texas estate… the same where I found the Frederick Copper Candlestick lamp.  This piece hung in their formal living room with some of the most fantastic antique furniture I have ever seen. The family said they could walk through the room but not sit down.   

The painting measures 28.5” wide x 24.5” tall from outside corner to corner.  The painting measures 23.75” wide x 19.75” tall. It’s in lovely estate condition.
