Blue and White French Figural Porcelain Statuettes, European Porcelain Bisque, Hand Painted

I am completely obsessed! Dressed in patterned blue and white, this stately French pair is of the highest quality. Although unmarked, I was told they were most likely made by VION and BAURY due to their impeccable detail. Every single inch of these bisque statuettes is beautifully done… the cascading bows, the ripple of her skirt, their pristine faces, the curls in the hair, the flowers in the hats… they are FANTASTIC!! In this case, a the pictures truly are worth a thousand words... 

I acquired them at a lovely historic home in Texas. The estate sale was by appointment and showcased some of the loveliest pieces... The same as the figural candlesticks and lamps. There were maybe 14 of us, and we about bought the place out, lol. 

They are substantial with each measuring approximately 16” tall x 5.75” diameter at the base x 9” deep ( the fellow) and they are HEAVY. 

Pieces like this are why I love sourcing the South and the great state of Texas for vintage and antique estate decor…shopping estate sales, auctions, charity thrift stores, and antique malls to carefully curate a collection of fantastic finds that have and will stand the test of time.
