This lovely vintage 'gros & petit point' pillow designed by Chelsea Textiles of London, evokes thoughts of a tranquil English cottage or french farmhouse with a lush garden. It looks as if someone just went out, picked flowers, and tied the bouquet up with a bow.

The double stitches of both "gros & petit point" used in one needlepoint design are more valuable due to the amount of time and skill it takes one person to produce them. These designs are all hand-stitched.

This pillow is certainly no exception as it is exquisite, and the stitches are beautiful. It's large and impressive, measuring 22"t x 20" w.

It has a classic design and is in exceptional condition and the high-quality shows with all tassels intact.

Very clean, All wool with Cotton Velvet zippered backing.
