Carved wooden drapery sweeps between the tiers, gathered into graceful folds before forming an elaborate central knot beneath the lower shelf. Pendant fabric ends and decorative bead-and-reel edging complete the composition.

The craftsmanship is wonderfully sculptural: flowing fabric rendered in wood, delicate featherwork, and figures that bring movement and personality to the entire piece.
