Herend Chinese Bouquet Figural Tureen

OBSESSED! This lidded tureen with the figural finial is amazing! I have never seen this piece in person until now and it’s what Herend dreams are made of…it measures approximately 9” tall x 10.5" wide. This tureen weighs over 4 pounds. 

It’s hand crafted and hand painted in Hungary with 24K gold accents. It is truly spectacular and in lovely estate condition. 

Chinese Bouquet is one of the loveliest and most sought after of all the Herend patterns.  Initially created in 1930 for Count Albert Apponyi and apply named "Apponyi Flowers",  it is a glorious pattern inspired  by the grandeur of the Orient.  

This collection of Herend is all from one Texas estate. These pieces were cherished by the lady of the house. I don’t know that they were  used often…they are all in near pristine condition.
