Clipper Ship Painting by Renato Longanesi, Vintage Oil on Canvas

This is a fantastic vintage original oil painting on canvas depicting a Clipper ship at sea  by Italian artist, Renato Longanesi (b.1931). It’s signed in the upper left corner and framed in solid wood with gold accent. 

It’s a substantial piece measuring a little over 51” long x 29”framed, the painting itself is 24” x 36” and is in lovely vintage condition.  Please see all the pictures as they are part of the description. 

I was at an Austin estate sale, turned the corner into the main living area and there it was hanging above the fireplace mantle. It stopped me dead in my tracks… I just stood there staring… mesmerized. Then I came-to and got it down before someone else grabbed it, lol.
