Large Vintage Rose Medallion Chinese Porcelain Platter. Beautifully hand painted detailed design with the traditional alternating panels of family scenes and nature, including birds and flowers in shades of pink, green, and red with hints of blue. Gold rim. Marked, Decorated in Hong Kong. Truly chinoiserie chic!

I acquired them at a large estate outside of Austin where two sisters lived.  They each had houses that were filled with the most amazing pieces...a lot of the same pieces as you'll notice. They traveled together and often bought the same things - if one had it, the other had to have it, too.  They spared no expense...it was such a fun sale to attend. I literally went all three days, which I very seldom do.

It's substantial in size and weight measuring 16.25" long x 12" deep x 1.75" tall from the table, and weighs over 3.5 pounds. It's in lovely estate condition.
