Vintage Hand Painted Lidded Urn, Rococo Style Courtship Urn, FANTASTIC!

This is one of those pieces you can see and feel the depth and age… it just exudes old world rococo charm. I’m calling it vintage, but it is very old very near antique. It’s numbered and marked, Germany.

This porcelain lidded urn  depicts a courtships scene beautifully hand painted and set against the European countryside. The urn’s body is a flared stem with a square base and gilt accents. Rococo style handles highlight each side. The colors are rich with a glazed finish. The corked lid is snug.

I acquired this piece from a fantastic country estate.

 It measures 9” tall x 4” wide. It’s in lovely estate condition with some light age appropriate wear to the finish.
