Majolica Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston Pitcher/Creamer, Made in England, Vintage, Green Equestrian

This stunning Majolica piece was made by Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston in England. I see some calling it a pitcher even at this size but I’m calling it a creamer… 

It is the richest shade of green with an embossed scene of hounds and horses around the outside. The handle is formed in the shape of a leaping hound which is one of my favorite things. It’s marked Wedgwood of Etruria & Barlaston.

This piece is from a private sale I attended at a Texas Arabian horse farm. To say the estate was magnificent is a huge understatement. 

Sourcing the South is my favorite thing to do... finding pieces that have been treasured for years and hopefully will be treasured for years to come.
