What can I say about this piece? I think the fantasticness shines through without words…but I’m going to try and do it justice…When I first saw it I audibly gasped. The colors, the Ormolu detail around the top, the blue bow, the feet, the handles… it’s all amazing!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like it. I’m calling it a planter but I’ve been told it might also be a Monteith Bowl…

It’s substantial in size and weight measuring 18.5” long x 7” tall and weighs over 18 lbs. it’s in lovely estate condition with an intentional crazed finish and some natural patina on the inner brass rim which is consistent with age and use.
