Vintage Blue and White Royal Bonn Delft Jardiniere, Blue and White

This early  20th Century Royal Bonn Delft Jardinière is such a special piece!  Classically hand painted in the iconic blue and white Delft design depicting two different images: one side has sailboats at dusk the other a countryside with windmill. Flowers, acanthus, and stripes add additional pops of charm to the design. Ornately detailed rolled feet add the finishing touches to this extraordinary piece. Marked Royal Bonn Delft and numbered. It’s shown in high and low light. Perfect orchid pot!

I acquired it at a lovely Texas Hill Country estate. The pieces were all so classic… Staffordshire statuettes, French oyster plates, and oodles of China. It was a dream to shop. 

It measures 15” long x 7.5” deep (3.75” inside) x 4.75” tall. 

It’s in nice vintage condition with a touch of wear to the original finish. Parts of the raised detail have rubbed paint there’s a very thin hairline crack on the windmill side but it only adds to its old world charm. It doesn’t affect its display ability or usability but nonetheless the price does reflect. Please see all the pictures as they are considered part of the description.
