Vintage Chapman Wood and Brass Ram Horn Wall Sconce/Lamp, Brass Cord Cover, Dimmer, Texas Hill Country

Fantastic vintage Chapman wall sconce/lamp styled in a carved wood ram's horn.  Circa 1970s.  It's mounted to brass and wood with brass fixtures and a gold foil lined black parchment shade and dimmer switch.   The brass cord cover is such a great feature of this vintage piece! 

 This piece is from the estate of a former Texas judge. I'm really surprised we got it at all...  I walked by it, knew I wanted it and saw my husband ahead. I went over to him and asked him to go get it because it had to be taken down off the wall. He said it wasn't for sale. I said, it is, and he kind of argued with me🙄...I was like, GO.Get.IT,  LOL😂 and thankfully he did! 

The brass mount has some natural verdigris and 'antiquing' which only enhance its overall charm and there is some crackling inside the shade but none of these things detract from its usability or displayability. 

The wood base measures 14.25" tall x 7.75" wide. From the bottom of wood base to top of finial measures 21.5" tall. The shade measures 12" wide at the base. The brass cord cover measures 35" long.
