Vintage French Courting Couple Needlepoint, Framed, Estate Decor

Vintage French needlepoints and tapestries are some of my favorite things…especially one as perfect as this. It’s an original framed needlework of a courting couple garden folly in a wonderfully aged vintage Italian frame. 

I am amazed the intricate details of the clothes and vibrant yellows, greens, and pinks.

The fabric textile is under glass and in a solid wood frame marked, Made in Italy. 

It measures approximately 18.75” tall x 23.25” wide and is in lovely condition. 

It was acquired from a Tennessee estate auction. 

Pieces like this are why I love sourcing the South and the great state of Texas for vintage and antique estate decor.
