Wedgwood Lavender (Blue) Jasperware Egg Lidded Box with an Owl, 1980, Blue and White

I love the Wedgwood eggs! This one is from 1980, features an owl, and is the fourth in the Easter series. It's lidded Jasperware in the beloved lavender (blue). Such a fantastic piece! Perfect for gifting. The blue and white is such a classic .

I acquired them at a large estate outside of Austin where two sisters lived.  They each had houses that were filled with the most amazing pieces...a lot of the same pieces as you'll notice. They traveled together and often bought the same things - if one had it, the other had to have it, too.  They spared no expense...it was such a fun sale to attend. I literally went all three days, which I very seldom do.

Sourcing the South and the great state of Texas for vintage and antique estate decor is my favorite thing to do...shopping estate sales, auctions, and charity thrift stores to carefully curate a collection of fantastic finds that have and will stand the test of time.

It measures approximately 3” long x 2” wide x 2” tall and is in lovely estate condition.
