Twice a year we head to Round Top, where the fields fill with dealers and collectors from across the country, each bringing remarkable finds from estates and markets around the world. This collection features some of our favorite pieces discovered while wandering those tents and barns in search of something special. From European antiques to beautifully timeworn decorative objects, each piece was chosen for its character, patina, and timeless charm. We return several times during each show — typically four or five trips per season — and this collection will continue to grow as new treasures are discovered along the way.

Originally designed as a torchère—a pedestal form used to elevate candlelight high within a room—these pieces brought both illumination and architectural elegance to 19th-century interiors. Their purpose was as much about atmosphere as function, casting a warm glow while adding height, symmetry, and quiet grandeur.


Over time, this piece has been thoughtfully electrified as a floor lamp, allowing it to live beautifully in today’s home while preserving every bit of its old-world soul.
