Under the Copper Roof began with a lifelong love of collecting and a husband who finally said, “You’re going to have to quit buying or start selling.” Naturally, I chose selling. After more than a decade in the antique world, Under the Copper Roof really took shape around 2020, built around my love for finding pieces with history, character and a little personality.
The name comes from my original studio, a building my husband and I had made with a copper roof. It was where I painted, created and worked on pieces, and eventually, Under the Copper Roof became the name of the business itself.
Today, I travel throughout Texas and across the South sourcing estate-found antique and vintage home and garden décor. Think European antiques, silver, china, gilt frames, original art, vintage lighting, chinoiserie, garden statuary, chippy paint, rusty metals, color, pattern and always something a little unexpected. My style was once described as “Marie Antoinette moved into Graceland,” which feels pretty accurate.
