Handwoven in France, the pillow features a playful monkey holding a cluster of grapes before a regal lion, framed by scrolling acanthus leaves and floral garlands in soft, time-worn hues of rose, cream, and gold.

This whimsical yet noble scene reflects the Rococo and Neoclassical spirit so admired in antique Aubusson textiles. The tapestry face retains its centuries-old charm, while the reverse is finished in luxurious shunting silk, prized for its subtle luster and elegance.
