19th Century French Dore Swan Wall Mounted Candle Sconces

 These lovely swan sconces are truly divine! When I saw them I literally gasped and when I won them from this amazing auction house here in Austin, I about passed out. I was thrilled! This is the provenance the auction house provided:  French Empire style bronze dore three-light candle wall sconces, late 19th c., each modeled as a winged swan, supporting three flared bobeches.

They are unique in their size as well as them having two bobeches on each end that are matching with the one in the center differing slightly as are the dangling faceted prisms which adds another layer of visual interest to this glorious pair. 

I've noted in the pics that one of the candle cups sits a litlleclower but you can also see in other pics that it isn't noticeable with the bobeches and candles. One other note, I did whittle down the candles a touch for them to fit in the candle cups a little better.

To hang, we used a screw with a washer. I can send a pic, if needed, upon request. 

They are substantial measuring approximately 11” tall x 11” wide x 13.5” deep and weighs a little over 8 pounds.
