19th Century Pair of Meissen Porcelain Rococo Candlesticks

Amazing pair of  antique Victorian Figural Meissen Candelabras. Artistically exceptional, they are beautifully designed with applied flowers  and hand painted in glorious colors. I am obsessed with the triple blue bows on the fellows vest. Marked with the classic double blue swords.

There is some light chipping to the flowers and a petal on the back but nothing that detracts from their loveliness. The condition really is very nice considering their age, but nonetheless the price does reflect.

Pieces like this are why I love Sourcing the South and the great state of Texas- especially Round Top- for vintage and antique decor.  Shopping estate sales, online auctions, charity thrift stores, and antique malls to carefully curate a collection of fantastic heirloom pieces that have and will stand the test of time.
