Vintage Armor Bronze Swashbuckler/Pirate Bookends

These bookends are FANTASTIC! We acquired them on our latest trip to Memphis and it was love at first sight...They are bronze clad in the form of a swashbuckler pirate manufactured by the Armor Bronze Company c1920-1930s.  They are old and worn but have held up nicely with age just like Errol Flynn, whom I bet they were modeled after.

Much of the original paint is still in pretty nice condition and has adhered well to the bronze. At one time, the bottoms must have been lined with green felt but it is now gone. There is some wear that seems to have been touched up but nothing that is glaring or distracts from their overall appearance. 

Each measures approximately 10.5" tall x 4.25" wide. They are perfect mid century shelf decor.
