 This exquisite Dresden-style figurine group features a graceful mother in a layered lace gown, flanked by her two daughters, with a sweet little frolicking goat at their feet. The entire scene is drenched in old-world charm: hand-applied florals, delicate pastel coloring, and that signature Dresden lacework that looks like it should be made of fabric (but somehow… isn’t).

Perfect for grandmillennial décor, a maximalist curio cabinet, or a romantic vignette layered with gilded frames, roses, and blue-and-white.

Condition

 Very good vintage condition overall with some small areas of lace shortcomings. 

There is a small area of lace loss/shortcoming on one little girl’s dress (minor and not visually distracting). No other major flaws noted.

Acquired from the estate of a noted author and former head of the Texas Historical Commission. He and his wife were passionate collectors who traveled extensively, amassing an extraordinary collection — including the largest assortment of Meissen and Dresden porcelain I’ve ever seen.
