A beautiful antique needlework depicting two game birds arranged among a blue pottery pitcher, strawberries, oranges and abundant foliage. Hand-worked in a combination of traditional needlepoint and finer petit-point stitching, the piece has extraordinary texture, detail and old-world character.

The palette is especially lovely, combining soft pinks, warm fruit tones, earthy browns and a wonderfully rich blue. The substantial solid-wood frame has been given a custom aged finish that complements the antique textile and enhances its Country French character.

Sourced in the Texas Hill Country, this one-of-a-kind antique textile would be beautiful in a kitchen, dining room, library or layered gallery wall. Its game-bird subject also makes it especially well suited to an English country, Country French or Ralph Lauren–inspired interior.
