Antique Napoleon III Furniture Legs with Ormolu Mounts | Set of Four
Beautiful enough to be collected in their own right. This set of four salvaged antique Napoleon III furniture legs features solid wood, rich aged coloring, and ornate ormolu mounts that bring a little French grandeur to the everyday.
Their slender, tapered forms, decorative metal collars, and beautifully detailed capped feet make them wonderful accents for an old-world, collected home. Stamped numbering remains visible on the exposed wooden mounting sections—another intriguing detail from their previous life.
Lay them on a silver tray, arrange them across a stack of antique books, or gather them in a stoneware crock for unexpected height and visual interest. They’re equally lovely displayed on a console or chest, or incorporated into a suitable furniture restoration project.
They have wear, patina, and the marks of a long life—and they are fabulous. A beautiful find for lovers of French antiques, decorative salvage, and thoughtfully layered interiors.
