Vintage MacKenzie Childs hand painted and glazed terracotta fluted dinner plate in the Bearded Iris pattern. Now discontinued.
Victoria and Richard Mackenzie-Childs transformed ceramics in the 1980s and 1990s with their whimsical, hand-painted designs produced in Aurora, New York. Their early pieces blended English country charm, folk art, theatrical color, and artisan craftsmanship in a way that felt completely unlike anything else in luxury home decor at the time. Today, Aurora-era MacKenzie-Childs pottery from the Victoria and Richard years is highly collectible for its artistry, originality, and unmistakable old-world maximalist character.
