Large Vintage Portuguese Blue and White Tile Mural of a Guardian Angel Watching Over Children

Large vintage blue and white Portuguese tile mural of a guardian angel looking over  two children. This piece Is substantial in size and weight (it’s heavy!) measuring 4’ tall x 3’ wide consisting of forty eight (48) tiles.

It's fantastic and perfectly imperfect with some cracks that are visible and some that are barely visible. I think it could be grouted filling in some of those spots if wanted. It's mounted on a piece of board and could be framed. It's so completely charming!

I acquired it at a posh Texas estate of a world traveler. She collected tiles and murals from around the world and had them mounted in different areas of her home including in a custom stucco fence surrounding her property. This is the sane estate where I acquired the large Rose Canton Punch Bowl.  

Sourcing the South and the great state of Texas for vintage and antique estate decor is my favorite thing to do...shopping estate sales, auctions, and charity thrift stores to carefully curate a collection of fantastic finds that have and will stand the test of time.
