French Sevres Style Hand Painted Porcelain Urn Lamp

Vintage  Sevres style double handled porcelain urn lamp aka bolted urn lamp beautifully hand painted with gilt detail, bronze handles and base with a marble insert. The scene depicts a courting couple in lovely colors on a vibrant blue.  There is a seal on the bottom from the Electra Lighting Co. 

Acquired from a posh San Antonio estate. It was amazing top to bottom. This lamp and the other French porcelain lamp were displayed in the same room and it set a beautiful scene amongst the other French antiques.

Sourcing the South and the great state of Texas for vintage and antique estate decor is my favorite thing to do...shopping estate sales, auctions, and charity thrift stores to carefully curate a collection of fantastic finds that have and will stand the test of time.

Each measures approximately 26” tall  x 5.5” wide at the handles.
