Texas Bluebonnet Painting, Framed French Blue and Gold, Texas Hill Country Painting by Anita Betke (1935-2006)

My Texas heart loves a Hill Country view especially one with Bluebonnets.

This fantastic original painting of trees, cactus, rocks, and Bluebonnets reminds me of looking out the widow on a long drive through the winding hills.

Painted in oil on canvas by Texas artist, Anita Betke (1935-2006) and dated 1986, it’s vibrant and so charming. Framed in solid wood highlighted in gold and speckled French blue reminiscent of a Robbin’s egg. 

I acquired it at the same glorious Texas estate as the floral whippet on the blue and pink tasseled pillow… did you see my reel on IG? 

Sourcing the South and the great state of Texas for vintage and antique estate decor is my favorite thing to do...shopping estate sales, auctions, and charity thrift stores to carefully curate a collection of fantastic finds that have and will stand the test of time.

It measures 27” tall x 31” wide and is in lovely estate condition.
