Victorian Shell Cameo in 10k Gold, Italian

Large antique Italian Victorian cameo expertly carved from shell and mounted in 10kt gold. Unmarked. Such an amazing heirloom piece….it’s perfect to wear, but wouldn't it be beautifully mounted and framed? That’s the first thing I thought when I saw it. 

It measures 2.25” long x 1.75” wide and is in lovely estate condition.
