Vibrant Vintage Chinoiserie Lidded Bowl, Made in Austria

This is a true work of art! Crafted in Austria, this hand painted and glazed chinoiserie lidded bowl features a man in full oriental dress. Did you see his green shoes? LOVE!

The swirling detail on the bowl in various shades of blue, white, orange, and bits of green is so beautifully done and highlights the pattern perfectly. Marked as shown. 

I acquired this piece from the estate of a Navy Admiral and his debutante wife (she's in the 1954-1955 Dubutante Register). They had the most exquisite pieces, including a full library of first-edition books and pieces from their travels around the world. 

It measures 6.25" tall x 6.5" wide and is in lovely estate condition.
