Early 20th Chinese Export Porcelain Chinoiserie American Federal Bald Eagle Ginger Jar Lamp on Wood Base with Custom Shade

Traditional Federalist meets Chinoiserie Chic in this vintage 20th Century Chinese Export Tea Jar Lamp. The porcelain ginger sits atop a wood base and is hand painted with an American Federal Bald Eagle holding arrows and olive branches - based on the United States Seal. The custom shade is striped with tassels. Such a fantastic piece!

I acquired it at a posh Texas estate where someone actually tried to snatch it right out of my hands… I was like, no way, it’s mine, lol. 

It measures 24” tall x 7” in diameter at the base.
