19th century pastoral painting of cattle grazing near the water with rolling hills in the background by UK artist Wilton Morley. The scene is perfectly depicted in oil on a linen canvas in breathtaking moody hues of grays, blues, browns, and greens. The details are amazing! Pieces like this are why I love estate art so much. 

There is some craquelure, but that’s not uncommon for a piece this age.  There isn't much listed about this artist but his pieces which all seem to be livestock related,  have been sold at auction multiple times.

I acquired this piece at a historic building turned residence. It was pretty grand!
