Vintage Yellow Chested Parrot Hua Ping Tang Zhi Crackled Plate with a Vibrant Feathers

Vintage Hua Ping Tang Zhi Plate featuring a vibrantly feathered parrot with a yellow chest.   Perched on a branch with lush leaves and botanicals, this fantastic bird is surrounded by swirling butterflies and an enameled blue and gold border. Intentional crackled finish lends an air of age to this plate made somewhere between 1975-2000 as the hallmark on the bottom denotes. 

It is substantial in weight and measures 8.75" in diameter.  There are 2 holes on the back that can be used for hanging as part of a plate wall or gallery or use in an easel to display on a shelf or table.

This piece along with the similar plate with the yellow chested bird (listed separately) was acquired at an amazing estate sale in the Texas Hill Country.
