Dating to approximately 1920–1940, this early 20th-century European spice cabinet is a collected-kitchen DREAM—warm old wood, twelve removable blue & white glazed ceramic drawers, an inset Blue Onion-style plaque, a pierced ceramic panel, and the most wonderful architectural arched top.

The ceramic has that beautiful fine crazing and mellowing that only comes with age, and then there’s that charming little rabbit pull—a later addition that I honestly wouldn’t change for the world. 🐇💙

At 24” tall × 21½” wide, she has serious presence. And while she may have originally been made for the kitchen, don’t let the word “spice cabinet” limit you. Fill those fabulous little ceramic drawers with tea, spices and herbs in a collected kitchen; ribbons, buttons, thread and notions in a craft or sewing room; jewelry and keepsakes in a bedroom or dressing room; or soaps, bath salts, cotton rounds and all the pretty little necessities in a bathroom. She’d even be wonderful in an office holding stationery, stamps and correspondence.
