Lovely antique Louis C Tiffany Furnaces Art Deco period bronze doré casket with an inlaid glass double x pattern snd the original insert. Circa 1900-1920.

It's signed FAVRILE LOUIS C TIFFANY FURNACES INC 130. 

Louis Comfort Tiffany (February 18, 1848 – January 17, 1933) was an American artist and designer best known for his work in stained glass. He is the American artist most associated with the Art Nouveau and Aesthetic movements.He was affiliated with a prestigious collaborative of designers known as the Associated Artists, which included Lockwood de Forest, Candace Wheeler, and Samuel Colman. Tiffany designed stained glass windows and lamps, glass mosaics, blown glass, ceramics, jewellery , enamels, and metalwork. He was the first design director at his family company, Tiffany & Co., founded by his father Charles Lewis Tiffany.

I acquired it from a posh Texas estate filled with French antiques, original art and Hermès scarves. It was a dream!

It measures 6.25” long x 3.75” deep x 2” tall  and is in lovely estate condition. I dare say, it may be the nicest one I’ve seen.
