Porcelain Empire Footed Urns, Gilt Detail, Pair, Vintage

This pair of Porcelain Empire Footed urns are giving a definite French vibe. Painted in a light French blue (blue-gray) detailed with gold  and bordeaux stripes with four gold claw feet attached to a gold-rimmed platform.

They do have some added crazing charm which I love, but nonetheless the price does reflect.  

I acquired them from a lovely estate in heart of Texas. The same as the brass Texas State Seal and Myrtlewood Boot bookends. 

Pieces like this are why Sourcing the South and the great state of Texas for vintage and antique estate decor is my favorite thing to do...shopping estate sales, auctions, and charity thrift stores to carefully curate a collection of fantastic finds that have and will stand the test of time.

Each measures 6.25” tall x  6.75” deep. They have some crazing but are in lovely condition and display beautifully.
