Antique French Spelter Gilt Figural Cherub Lamp, Late 19th Century

This antique French Spelter gilt figural lamp is such a special piece. The female cherub is is beautifully sculpted and set upon a highly Rococo detailed footed base. Circa late 19th century. Originally this was a gas lantern but has be electrified to a single light. A clip shade can be used but because I wanted to use the black shades pictured for staging so I used a bulb clip piece that has a finial. 

It measures 17” tall to the top of the socket x 6.5” wide x 6.5” deep. 

The Aidan Gray shade measures 7” tall x 9” in diameter and can be purchased for $50. The bulb clip piece was purchased on Amazon and can be included for $11. Msg me for a purchase link.

I acquired them at lovely Central Texas estate- the same as the French Spelter cherub lamps with the bronze finish and the French mantle clock.
