Colorful Rose Painting, Titled Beauties by Dorothy Louise Larsen (1903-1996)

Estate art is one of my favorite things especially florals.

Vintage floral still life of colorful roses titled, Beauties by Wyoming artist, Dorothy Louise Larsen (1903-1996). Mainly known as a landscape artist, this piece was done for the family of the estate I acquired it from. The colors and texture truly amazing. Its oil on canvas enveloped in a lovely solid wood heavy ornate frame.  

It was acquired from the charming estate of a former Federal judge. This home was one of the most colorful places I’ve ever seen with so much original art by artists who were personal friends.  

Sourcing the South and the great state of Texas for vintage and antique estate decor is my favorite thing to do...shopping estate sales, auctions, and charity thrift stores to carefully curate a collection of fantastic finds that have and will stand the test of time.

It’s substantial in size and weight measuring 28” t x 24” w x 2.5” d.
