Pair of Antique Porcelain Portraits, Ornate German Black Forest Wood Frame, Black Forest Wood Carved Frame German Antique

These antique portraits charmingly depict what I believe to be a brother and sister in their German fare. The artist captures their innocence in these portraits on porcelain period framed ornately in wood carved from the Black Forest.  

I acquired them from a posh Texas estate filled with French antiques, original art and Hermès scarves. It was a dream!

Sourcing the South is my favorite thing to do... finding pieces that have been treasured for years and hopefully will be treasured for years to come. Many are steeped in history and tradition and some are just pretty but all are thoughtfully curated by me so that I can bring you the very best of what I find

Each measures approximately 8” tall x 6” wide framed. The porcelain( shown) measures 3” tall x 2.25”. They’re in nice estate condition with age appropriate wear to the frames.
