Fantastic Bluebonnet Painting, Texas Bluebonnet Painting, Ornate Gold Frame

Y’all know how much I love a good bluebonnet painting and this one is FANTASTIC. Not only is it visually stunning , but there is also a lot of texture in this piece, the matting is a velvety green and the artist signed the back as well as the front. It’s an oil on canvas enveloped in a solid wood ornate gold frame.  

It was acquired from the posh estate of a former Central Texas bank founder and president- the same estate as the Opera painting. It was filled with more Waterford, Wedgwood, and fine art than I think I've ever seen in one home. Completely fabulous!

Sourcing the South and the great state of Texas for vintage and antique estate decor is my favorite thing to do...shopping estate sales, auctions, and charity thrift stores to carefully curate a collection of fantastic finds that have and will stand the test of time.

It’s substantial in size and weight measuring 28” tall x 33.75” wide x 2.75” deep and  weighing approximately 13lbs.
