Vintage Luigi Fabris (Fabris Italy) Porcelain Lace Lady Figurine | Romantic Italian Figural Scene | Applied Flowers
If you collect European porcelain, you already know: Fabris is a name that makes people stop scrolling.
This breathtaking figurine is marked “Fabris – Italy” and is attributed to the celebrated Italian maker Luigi Fabris, known for creating some of the most romantic and intricate mid-century porcelain scenes ever produced. Fabris pieces are prized for their storytelling, sculptural elegance, and lavish use of hand-applied florals—all executed with a level of detail that feels straight out of a European fairytale.
A True Little Italian Fantasy
This composition features a graceful lace-clad lady in a garden setting, surrounded by an abundance of hand-applied porcelain flowers, sculpted greenery, and charming architectural detail. The scene is rich with old-world romance—like a miniature courtyard frozen in time.
The lace-style skirt is especially dramatic, giving the piece that signature Fabris look collectors love: delicate, feminine, and impossibly ornate.
Why Fabris Matters
Luigi Fabris became widely collected in the mid-20th century for his highly decorative porcelain figurines—pieces that blend Italian craftsmanship with Rococo-inspired elegance. Today, Fabris Italy porcelain remains one of the most sought-after categories for collectors of European figurals, Dresden-style lace, and statement porcelain décor.
