Chinoiserie Ginger Jar Lamp with Birds, Butterflies, and Pink and Green Flowers

This vintage ginger jar lamp is the perfect pop of chinoiserie! Hand painted birds and butterflies are surrounded by branches of pink flowers with lush green leaves. Bits of blue detailing round out the design on this crazed finish. It reminds me of a fab wallpaper. So stunning!

I acquired it at a charming Texas estate…the same as the Italian gilt tile and Murano glass flower table.  

Sourcing the South and the great state of Texas for vintage and antique estate decor pieces is my favorite thing to do...finding treasures that have been cherished for years and hopefully will be for years to come.
