This antique postcard captures the magnificent Church of La Madeleine alongside Paris’s celebrated Grands Boulevards. With its monumental neoclassical architecture and lively city setting, the view offers a wonderful glimpse of the elegance and energy of historic Paris.

Set against rich blue silk and presented behind glass in a modern 5” x 7” gold  bamboo-style frame, it creates a beautiful marriage of old and new.

Rather than covering the edges with a traditional mat, I intentionally floated each postcard against the blue silk so its original perforated edges and individual nuances remain visible. Slightly uneven margins, gently jagged edges, and imperfect symmetry are all part of its age and history—little details that make each piece completely unique.

Perfect for displaying on a bookshelf, tucked into a gallery wall, layered on an easel, or given as a thoughtful gift to someone with a special connection to the location. Each postcard bears its own age-appropriate character and patina, making every framed piece wonderfully individual.

Please forgive the occasional glare in the photographs—each postcard is protected behind glass, and apparently photographing glass without capturing every light in the room is not among my many talents.
