Vintage Victorian Filigree Box

Sweet vintage Victorian hinged portrait box with the loveliest mademoiselle in a blue bow on silk, an open filigree design, and lined with red velvet. Made in Japan. 

I acquired this piece from the posh Texas estate of a former hospital president and his lovely wife. Both of whom were lovely, beloved pillars of the community.  

It measures 2.25” x 2.5”.
