La Dame a la Licorne Limoges Plate No. 3, The Lady and the Unicorn

This Limoges Plate by Robert Haviland and C Parlonis is No. 3 in the La Dama A La Licorne 

It displays scenes from the well known fifteenth century Parisian tapestries. It’s hand painted in vibrant colors, meticulous detail, and rimmed in gold. It’s marked and dated. 

I acquired them and the Pickanese plate at a private sale at a posh Texas estate.  

Sourcing the South is my favorite thing to do... finding pieces that have been cherished for years and hopefully will be cherished for years to come. Many are steeped in history and tradition and some are just pretty but all are thoughtfully curated so that I can bring you the very best of what I find💙

It measures 10” in diameter and is in lovely estate condition.
