Fantastic antique Victorian plate featuring Catherine Hübscher, born in 1753, was a laundress who lived in France during the French Revolution and Napoleon's reign. She married François Joseph Lefebvre, who rose through the ranks of the army and eventually became a Marshal of France and Duke of Dan. It’s artistically cradted in France with gilded blue on white with vibrantly colored floral swags attached with pink bows.
The plate is hallmarked with an N with a crown over it.
