McCoy Bird of Paradise Vases, Pair, Vintage Peacock Vases

FANTASTIC pair of vintage McCoy Peacock/Bird of Paradise vases! The beautiful light green aqua blue color glaze is a perfect pop of color in any decor. and with the design is on both sides they are lovely from all angles. c1948.  See the note on the bottom...They were given as gifts in 1949. Marked, McCoy.

I acquired them from the estate of a former interior decorator and wife of a Texas Ranger. Come to find out through conversation with the family; we had all attended the same church when I was a child. This was so funny because we had traveled over 150 miles to this sale which, as you know in Texas is like next door😂

Each measures 8.25" tall x 4.5" wide from handle to handle and are in lovely condition with some signs of age and use. As with all hand made pottery, there are some blemishes in the original finish which only add to their charm.
