Pair of 20th Century Federalist American Brass Lanterns with Eagles

These are the most fantastic pair of early 20th century American brass hexagonal lantern sconces.

They are a glorious featuring two tiers of canopies bordered in a tasseled swag with a majestic eagle finial above a central light housed in hexagonal glass panels with flickering candle like bulbs that beautifully illuminates with traditional charm. 

 The scrolled brackets are offered secure mounting with attached plugs that can be used as-is or they can be removed for hard wiring to a wall or gate post. 

They are true statement pieces sure to be favorites for years to come.

They were acquired from a grand estate in the Terrell Hills area of San Antonio. I literally gasped when I saw them. 

Each measures approximately 28.5” tall to the tip of the wings x 8.5” at the widest part of the body. They are in lovely condition with some natural patina. Totally fabulous!
