Vintage French Courting Wired Wall Sconces, Ormolu and Porcelain, Made in Spain

Talk about swoon worthy! This pair of vintage electric wall sconces with a classic French courting scene on porcelain center plaque are GLORIOUS. Each has ornately detailed brass ormolu bases and arms. Marked, Made in Spain.

I acquired them from the estate of a former interior decorator and wife of a Texas Ranger. Come to find out through conversation with the family; we had all attended the same church when I was a child. This was so funny because we had traveled over 150 miles to this sale which as you know in Texas is like next door😂

Sourcing the South and the great state of Texas for vintage and antique estate decor is my favorite thing to do...shopping estate sales, auctions, and charity thrift stores to carefully curate a collection of fantastic finds that have and will stand the test of time.

I have only lightly wiped them down because some like shiny brass and others 'antiqued'.  I will leave that decision to the discretion of the buyer.

They measure 17" long x 13" wide and have the original wiring,  as far as I know.
