Vintage Chinoiserie Bird Footed Cachepot Planter with Applied Fruit Handles

I love these pieces with the applied pomegranate handles! This chinoiserie footed cachepot is especially lovely with the colorful birds on an intentionally ‘crazed’ finish and the fruit on branch handles make it extra special. 

Marked with a Chinese red maker’s mark on the underside. 

I acquired it from a charming Texas estate with some of the most fantastic wallpaper I’ve ever seen. You know it’s good when I'm walking around gasping and taking pics instead of taking things to the ‘Sold Table’, lol.
